This is a great opportunity for our grandparents to get together and have a chat about their members and what they've been up to, and to meet with other Grandparent's in similar situations to them.

Butties for Blokes

These monthly meet ups get our blokes together to have a chat with a sausage/bacon butty on hand at our DSC hub. This is not just for dads but any blokes who would find this group useful.

Stay & Play @  Playworld Crewe

Pop along to our regular Pre-school soft play session to catch up with  your friends. Each month we will visit a different play centre in Cheshire.

If you are 16 years or older, we are inviting you to become a member on the Down Syndrome Cheshire I Choose Board!

The I Choose Board has been created to provide an opportunity for our members to live the life they choose and to help shape the community they live in. It is also a chance to discuss the Down Syndrome Act and how we can make it meaningful and powerful.

Sip & Learn

This month we will be joined by Jem from Healthwatch Cheshire and Philippa from Mid Cheshire Trust.

Both will provide vital information which can signpost and assist during your member's health journey.

Parent's Meal

Join us for our Parent's only Burger night at the Ring O’ Bells in Christleton, Chester. An award-winning country pub and restaurant.

Picnic & Play

Bring your picnic and meet us at Vickersway Park for a game of crazy golf, a play at the play area or maybe a game of tennis.

Salt @ Cheeky monkeys

Cheeky Monkeys sessions are for our youngest members aged up to 5 years, it's a great way to meet other parents, seek advice from our Education Advocates and receive speech and language support from our Speech and Language therapist. We provide a safe space for your member to play and there’s an opportunity to learn some Makaton during our singing and signing time.

School Holiday Activities at the DSC Hub

Our May Holiday activity promises to be engaging, friendly and inclusive, providing opportunities to hang out with friends and enjoy some great fun.

Bike ride & Lunch

Meet us at Marbury Park where we will hire bikes from Wheels For All who have a variety of bikes meaning everyone can ride . We will then return to the DSC Hub in Northwich for lunch.

Sewing Club

If you like crafting, why not  join our monthly Sewing Club at the DS Hub.

We already have some great members that attend but it would be great if we could get some more.

Chester Zoo meet up

We will be meeting for a morning at Chester Zoo during the May half term holidays, a great opportunity to meet up with friends old and new and see the amazing zoo animals.

Friends Get Together

A friendly and regular monthly get-together for our members to build and maintain friendships; to chill out, hang out, and stay in touch.
