Everyone at DSC and our wider family community were blown away by the recent runaway success of Stand Out Socks in the BBC's Dragons Den TV show.  After a brilliantly compelling pitch by Christian, Ross, and Natalie; business Dragons, Peter Jones and Steven Bartlett, wasted no time in choosing to invest in the business - thus ensuring stability and success for the team as they build on their success in 2024.

The company was formed in 2021, inspired by their co-founder, a young man with Down Syndrome who has not been scared to STAND OUT in a crowd. Guided by strong ethical values, the company produces amazing unisex socks that exude vibrancy, audacity, and a dash of eccentricity.  We're so proud of what the team has achieved in such a small space of time, and it inspires us to build on our own success in creating meaningful employment and enterprise opportunities for our community of young adults.  We wish the whole team at Stand Out Socks the very best for 2024 as they continue to raise awareness of Down Syndrome and foster inclusivity for people with learning disabilities.
