Theo's October Awarness Litter Pick

Our family has been supported by DS Cheshire for nearly all of Theo’s life. His week is filled with activities run by them DS Dance, DS Drama and DS 18 + activities. We are really grateful for all the opportunities the charity gives Theo to grow, make friends and have fun. The team there truly make a difference to all of us. So we thought of what we could do for our little bit to contribute and fundraise. Theo and I have a real “pet hate” for litter and both enjoy making a difference by collecting litter if we are out on a walk or in a park. Theo has also been litter picking, with his teacher, round Chester for a few years as part of his Duke of Edinburgh tasks. So we thought for Downs Syndrome Awareness month we would ask our friends and family to sponsor Theo to collect 21 bags of rubbish over the month of October.

We have started a bit early (today 28/9/25…such a lovely day to be out! ) hence the photos. Thanks in advance for helping Theo to make local environments look better whilst raising money to ensure that the future of DS Cheshire looks better too. 🙏🏻🥰
