MAKE OCTOBER COUNT
Down Syndrome Awareness Month - Let's Do This!
October is Down Syndrome Awareness Month — a time to celebrate, advocate, and show the world what's possible when a community comes together. At Down Syndrome Cheshire, we believe that every person with Down syndrome deserves a life full of opportunity, connection, and belonging — and right now, we need your help to make that happen.
This October, we're asking our incredible supporters to go further. Whether you fancy a physical challenge, a creative pursuit, or simply want to spread the word, there's a way for everyone to get involved. The funds you raise go directly into the services, events, and support that change lives right here in Cheshire.
We've made it as simple as possible. Set up your fundraising page in minutes, choose a challenge that excites you, and share it with your friends, family, and colleagues. Not sure where to start? Download our free Toolkit — it's packed with everything you need to communicate your challenge, ask for donations, and make the biggest impact possible.
Every pound raised, every person who signs up, every post shared — it all adds up. Let's make this the biggest October yet for Down Syndrome Cheshire.
CHOOSE YOUR CHALLENGE...
213 Circle Challenge

Find 21 people in your network and ask each one to donate just £3. Every time you reach £63, you've completed a circle. Set up your fundraising page, start sharing, and see how many circles you can complete this October.
213 Creative Challenge

Get creative for Down Syndrome Awareness Month. Bake, paint, perform, craft or create — whatever you love doing, channel it into something that raises funds and awareness. The more imaginative, the better, but tailor everything the numbers 21 and 3.
