Crafty Plans to Celebrate WDSD 2024!!
Calling all crafters! Throughout March, as we celebrate World Down Syndrome Day, we’re asking all you knitters and crochet crafters to take on a challenge and produce a pair of socks that we can include on our giant sock bunting! You can use any pattern you'd like, or feel free to download one of ours below. We will also be sending socks to families in Ukraine and neonatal units across the region. So, whether you are a crochet queen or a knitting master, join our Facebook challenge and be part of something WOOLLY special this #wdsd2024
Oh, and be sure to get those socks back to us before Thursday, March 21st, so they can be included in our celebration bunting!!

We are incredibly proud of Theo, who has raised an amazing amount of money for Down Syndrome Cheshire before and after his heart surgery last year. His determination and positivity continue to inspire us all. Our 2026 Gingerbread Sock Biscuits have now arrived at the hub and deliveries have started to everyone who placed an order.
We’re excited to announce that we’ll be kicking off our World Down Syndrome Day celebrations with a Western Party on: 📅 Friday 20th March 📍 Antrobus Village Hall ⏰ 7pm-11pm, arrival from 6.45pm This event will mark the start of a full weekend of celebrations, packed with activities and events for all ages, and for every family in our community. Say YEEHAW and hit the floor as we take on two 45 minute line dancing sessions with a line dance instructor, music and games! We’re looking forward to celebrating in true DSC style!
