Story 3

After a birth diagnosis, I feel we were inundated with negativity: "He won't do this, he can't do that!" How wrong they were.

Our son does everything that a typical child does. Sometimes, things take longer, but he gets there at his own pace when he's ready!

Don't get me wrong the first year of his life was hard with the hospital stays, the operations spending our first Christmas in the hospital but those memories we will treasure.

People with Down syndrome are truly underestimated

If I had one wish it would be that every family had a member with Down syndrome the world would certainly be a better place full of joy and laughter.
