'Assume That I Can' wins Golden Lion at Cannes
Congratulations to actor, activist, influencer and all-round energiser, Madison Tevlin who, together with the CoorDown team, recently scooped the prestigious Golden Lion award at the Cannes Festival of Creativity. Madison is such a passionate and positive advocate for the global Down syndrome community and was the perfect choice to star in CoorDown's latest campaign which, once again, used humour, intelligence and stark honesty to deliver a powerful message of the need for change and for society to reframe its perceptions.

We’re so excited to welcome more members to The Learning Lab , our fun and engaging program designed by Down Syndrome Cheshire to help individuals with Down syndrome learn, grow, and thrive . Through exciting, hands-on sessions, participants will explore: ✅ Digital Skills 💡 Life Skills 👩🍳 Cooking 🎵 Communication Skills 👫 The Learning Lab runs monthly on Saturdays (10am–2pm) at the Down Syndrome Cheshire Hub for the following age groups: 👧 Primary (6–10 years) 🧑🎓 Secondary (11–15 years) 🌟 16+ Each session is filled with learning, laughter, and life skills to support independence and confidence, all in a safe, inclusive environment.

"Darcey is going to walk for 21 minutes for 3 weeks in October to support DS Cheshire as her challenge for Down Syndrome awareness month! Darcey isn’t one for walks, she loves coming in from school and chilling out doing creative stuff, so this may not sound a task to some, but for Darcey this is a physical and mental challenge. Please support her on this personal challenge which I know she will smash and all in a great cause."
